                                                          Leighton Meester and Adam Brody

Like fan fiction come to life, The O.C.'s Seth Cohen has asked Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf to marry him. Star reports that Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are engaged, after less than a year of dating. The 15-year-old you isn't dreaming, this is real.

According to the magazine, the two had been talking about marriage, but Brody's proposal was a surprise. The same source says that they're planning on getting married some time next year.
The two met while they were shooting The Oranges together, but only started dating about 10 months ago.
In a move that's sure to make Kirsten Cohen proud, the two are apparently considering getting married in southern California.
